Corruption in Islamic countries

I would say Islamic countries are no different to most other third world countries, but this is not true. We hold 9 out of 10 bottom positions for worse corrupted countries including several with the world Islamic in the country titles or supposedly apply Islamic shariah.  It is having many ways to clean your sins in Islam that does not include punishment (unless you are caught) that means many people will try to cheat the system that it makes it impossible to stop!

Take Afghanistan when the Taliban first took over again. There were people who are taking sides on the topic of Taliban and what is happening in Afghanistan.

There were some who were suggesting we give them a chance. Maybe they will turnout to be a model state of Islam.

There were some who already suggesting they do not represent Islam.

And then the majority who quietly hope they are good but dread they are bad. And what do we have so far? If this is not a fail state suppressing women and unable to look after its people, I don’t know how bad it had to become before you notice.

This situation reminds me of the start of the IS in Iraq and Syria. We were in this exact situation. And for a while, ISIS tried to model itself a futuristic state with health care that beats that of the West. With sharing of oil money and wealth, with social security income for disabled and widows… seriously, if you were too young or forgotten, take a look at the start of ISIS. But this façade did not last long. As soon as they started filming the implementation of Shariah Law, the sway of people who initially supported them turned quiet while secretly hoping it is just a phase. On Arabic and Islamic social media, ISIS supporters reminded loud and vocal but less visible, using anonymous accounts, and screaming “ISIS is here to remain and expand” even as they lost everything!

Islam is never the solution to governance. It is a tried and tested approach and had failed every single time! It only leads to more corruption and moves us away from progress.

Islamic heaven, is it what everyone wants?

What does the Quran says about heaven?

“(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear….” Quran 47:15

“Fair ones reserved in pavilions….Untouched before them by man or jinnī” Quran 55:72 & 74

This is 7th century heaven, heaven of things that desert dwellers dreamed off. But that is just boring, how much sex, water, milk, honey, and wine do you want? A 21st century heaven would be, endless supply of electronics, TV streaming with super fast broadband, rivers of vodka, whiskey, or Coca-Cola (or Pepsi)  Heaven would be a place you can transform to be anything you want to be.
Fridges with endless supply of cakes and chocolates that don’t make you fat. Galactic travel, continuously exploring planets, and different universes, where happiness an endless joy to share. Why Muhammad did not mention any of these? Muhammad was only reflecting what he thought is his heaven.. Including mindless houris women for sex.

Men are rewarded with virgins:
“[For the Companions of the Right Hand] We have created (their Companions) of special creation. And made them virgin – pure.”
Qur’an 56:35-36

These virgin Hoors will have firm breasts:
” Verily for the Righteous there will be a fulfilment of (the heart’s) desires; Gardens enclosed, and grapevines; And voluptuous women of equal age;”
Qur’an 78:31-33

The hadith says the number of virgins in paradise is limitless:
Allah’s Apostle (The blessing and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “In Paradise there is a pavilion made of a single hollow pearl sixty miles wide, in each corner of which there are wives who will not see those in the other corners; and the believers will visit and enjoy them.”
Sahih Bukhari 6:60:402

We scrolled the Quran from cover to cover, nothing specific about what women get in heaven – as if they do not exist. The Quran is man made for men by a desert dweller,

If Ramadan is healthy, this will be the ultimate test:

To call fasting healthy, you would recommend it to anyone. You would recommend it for children, for the elderly, for the able and disabled, for pregnant women, for people recovering from illness and even sometimes for people who are ill and it would be good for both body and mind.

Now, go through that above list and consider light exercises such as swimming, to walking at least an hour a day, to stretching and yoga. How many of these people would benefit from it?

Now go again through the above list considering Ramadan fasting from food and water for up to 14 hours…how many of these people would it be good for them?

If you found in the end that Ramadan is only good for the fit and healthy, tell me…what is the point then?

In the Middle East we have a high rate of diabetics, mostly because of close family marriages. A disease that for 1350 years, we did not have means to detect until the person died and we say “it is Allah’s wills”. So many of our ancestors would have suffered and died in Ramadan because of fasting and completely unaware that what a desert dweller claimed to be “fasting is healthy for all”, was in fact killing them slowly.

Ramadan and eating in public

It goes back to the lie that they have used all along “Eating in public hurts my feeling”

No it does not. Most people who are fasting come across it all the time. Many are home during the day. In their households are children and elderly who eat because it is allowed for them. Mother’s cooking food and Infront of food, chefs in restaurants preparing food for the evening. They may have members of family who is unwell, and eating. They see TV adverts and TV programmes of people eating. Do they not see the photos of food and drinks in their social media? Bloody hell, my Instagram is full of them!  So, no, it is not about seeing food, the act of eating, or drinking that hurts them. It is seeing (and shock of seeing) how many people don’t fast or take their faith seriously. They would rather believe, even if they know it is a lie, that everyone is fasting!

Home delivery of food would shoot up by 400% in Ramadan, and I am not talking about the Iftar (breaking of fast). This is reported, almost embarrassingly, in small columns of newspapers. The authors tend to point out that people are not fasting!! Some of these authors calling on the government to ban them. What?? No personal choice to stay home and eat? Even this hurts your feelings? Again, not about eating or drinking. It is about how many people are turning around and saying…BS I don’t buy Ramadan is good for me. Move on old school. Let people be free. You want heaven for yourself…you want more space and women hooris…just focus on your prayer and fasting …let people be and stop pretending it is about your feelings.

Impractical Ramadan and how we try to fix it 2

On Earth we pray and do 17 rakat (posturing on the floor) a day part of five prayers a day. But with 16 sunrises and sunset on the International Space Ship this comes up to 260 rakat. If an average prayer takes 10mins 80 prayers a day comes up to 800 mins or 12 hours a day praying….how much time is left to sleep, eat, or do anything!! No wait, sleeping is impossible because 10mins into a sleep you need to be up for another sunrise – you cannot have enough sleep – you will go crazy!

And don’t get me started with the direction of Mecca when you are flying at the speed of a bullet, they will need to create a rotating carpet that adjusts it’s direction during flying….do you see how impractical it is going to be.

Now forget the ISS and think on earth for a moment, continuity of work and research, for study and travel, has again and again been proving the impractically of Islamic prayer. Take northern countries, some with six months of night and six months of days. Nothing…nothing in the Quran or Hadith. Why? These places would have never crossed the mind of a desert dweller in Arabia, back in the 7th century. And because he did not know it, Allah did not know it. So, we had to resort to plasterers (Islamic scholars) to apply their fixes (Ishtihad) and invent solutions that many time they disagree on how to apply it. So some suggested they calculate their prayer based on the nearest “normal” time line (what is normal?), Mecca time, or place of their birth. And of course, none of these make sense when someone is praying “Sunset” and there is no sunset…or pray Night and the sun is in the middle of the sky!!!

How rich people outsmarted Allah.

Many have become creative, outsmarting Allah and Muhammad in Ramadan. In many Islamic countries, they switch day with night. Everything almost shuts down during the day, except essential services manned by the poor people and everything opens at night. It is much easier if you are well off and do not need to work. This way, Ramadan is spent sleeping during the day and eating at night. You would not notice Ramadan at all. In fact, Ramadan will feel like a beautiful holiday.

Then the really wealthy, they go on holidays for when you are travelling or abroad you are exempted up to 10 days from fasting. Some spend Ramadan travelling and pay some donations not to fast. Then some travel to parts of the world where days are four to five hours. This happened a lot a few years ago when it was winter. Many rich people from the Middle East would fly to North Europe for a long one month holiday. Some of whom would wake up at 7 have breakfast the sun rises at 7:30and have lunch at sunset us at 2:30! And even then, they would spend much of the day sleeping. It seems Allah is not clever enough to have realise that Ramadan does not let the rich feel like the poor…but make the poor work harder during the day on empty stomach while the rich celebrate all the good deeds of Ramadan with little effort – thus outsmarting Allah and Muhammad!

Is Ramadan healthy?

I have three tests that prove Ramadan was and is not healthy or good for you. Here they are:

  1. In any other time of the year, ideally few months away from Ramadan, ask your doctor or elderly relative claiming to be know it all: “What are the benefits of drinking water regularly?” And sit there enjoying them shooting their foot: drinking water regularly is essential for functioning kidney, liver, blood circulation, brain functions, immune system…etc. Lack of water can cause build up of stones, liver ability to process, increase risks of blood clot, cause dizziness, and increase risks of illness. If you dare, ask them “Then why is Ramadan healthy?”
  2. Stress Eating in Ramadan agitates people based on their personalities. Those who stress eat, who tend to be fat, get fatter in Ramadan. Those who lose appetite when stressed, tend to eat less at the iftar and end up losing weight in Ramadan. Observe it!
  3. Deaths in Ramadan! Go to your local graveyard and count how many people die in Ramadan. In theory, it should be just 1/12th of the graves. When I did it in my local graveyard it was 3/12. Especially in the older graves, 30 years ago. Suggesting there are three times more deaths in Ramadan! People, in the olden days, died from diabetes and other medical conditions believing Ramadan makes them healthy. That is before we learned how to diagnose these illnesses.

All the intermittent fad diets we see do not reassemble Ramadan. We have three MASSIVE differences between intermittent diets and Ramadan fasting:

  1. You are encouraged to drink water. Ramadan, you are not!
  2. They are continual as needed, not fixed for one month.
  3. They are intended for people who have weight problems, not everyone!

Do you still believe Ramadan is healthy? You are brainwashed like the doctor in example 1. Here is a link, if you wish to read further:

Impracticalities of Ramadan and how we try to fix them.

Ramadan is upon us, and my brothers and sisters who “pretend” they look forward to it. But feel for those living in the pole.

According to Islamic laws set out in the Qur’an, the keeping and breaking of a fast are related to times of sunrise and sunset which do not occur near the Poles as they would on other places on the Earth.

As we get closer to the North or South Pole, the day or night might extend for up to several months each. At the North Pole itself, daylight and darkness last for more than six months at a time.

“Why do you think Islam did not take into consideration Muslim astronauts and Muslims living near the Poles?”
We can understand some 7th-century desert dwellers not knowing about the poles or believing that Muslims would someday end up in space, but an omniscient being should have known better. Whoever made these rules either believed that the Earth is flat, or the Earth is in a perfect perpendicular tilt relative to the Sun.

Now Islamic scholars have tried to fix this issue in many ways, like match Mecca time, match the nearest inhabitants with “normal” hours, travel away from the pole for Ramadan….and many many others…but you know what they all have in common? They go directly against the Quran and are not backed by any hadith! They could not find ANYTHING!!

Yet another evidence that Islam is not from an all-knowing god or Muhammad knows anything beyond the desert of Arabia.

Issues with loud Adaan (call for prayers)

Where I used to live, it is like a competition time when the prayer comes about…the speakers start blasting. No sooner one starts, the others start and with echoes from other mosques miles and miles away…the whole world becomes blasted with incomprehensible noise that we have learned over the years to tune it out.

We humans use selective hearing. Just this moment, wherever you are…stop and consider how many other sounds you are not listening to…and if you live in Islamic country, ask yourself when was the last time you paid attention to what the mosques are saying! Which begs the question, what is the point of the blasting speakers? You think nowadays with mobile phones and apps that remind us of prayer times, we still need 7th century call for prayers?

Stop noise pollution…let us enjoy some peace from the religion that promised us peace did not deliver any peace! Let’s hear the birds and not frighten the shit out of them! Let people who have real jobs sleep, people who just returned from a night shift rest…stop living in 7th century mentality.

Ramadan post

Why Muslims become more “Muslims” in Ramadan than any other months?

It is in the belief rightly or wrongly that they can do almost whatever they want any other months and this month if they behave, pray, and fast…Allah will forgive them for their other sins. And Muhammad indirectly hinted at that. From suggesting that fasting “cleans the soul” to prayers are more listened too during this month (Allah has noise cancelling headphones on the other months!), to a bizarre night that no one knows its exact date where Allah comes down to “hear our prayers better and grant us anything we want” – Lailat Al Qadir.

And what is the one thing they will all start with? “Oh Allah press delete all my sins and click resit – cheers!”

Muhammad knew by the number of people who kept coming to him asking how “Allah” can forgive them for their sins, he can manipulate the people to do anything – prayer that includes his name, Zakat (which he got the 20%), Jihad (which he got 20% of the bounty called Khumus), to Hajj which he got revenue from selling “blessed dates” that he claimed stops magic and poison (we all know it did not work to save him!), selling blessed water that we now know is not that blessed, to Ramadan where he copied the Abrahamic and Zoroastrian faith. If you cannot see a trend here, you are simply blinded by your faith.
