Islam claimed through the Quran that bird flying is a miracle of Allah and that Allah holds the birds up in the sky.

“Do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air and) the sky? Nothing holds them up but (the power of) Allah. Verily in this are signs for those who believe”
Quran 16:79

Today, engineers and scientists are well aware of the aerodynamic properties of a bird’s wing. It functions by creating a difference in the air pressure between the lower and upper part of the wing and this creates lift that pushes the bird upward. The wings of birds evolved over millions of years to acquire this feature.

The author of the Qur’an, however, is unaware of these scientific details and says that ‘nothing’ holds up the bird except the miraculous power of Allah.

Looking at birds and simply saying “Subhan Allah” translates Amazing Allah in praising it as a miracle for 1430 years did not get us to fly. It is those who saw it as nothing but a natural process are able to study it and recreate it. Proving again, no miracle here and another scientific error in the Quran!

Every time a debate involving Daniel against non-Muslims or other Muslims with unconventional views – a circus  of Abduls and Aishas follow with pre-scripted comments like:
– You have been completely destroyed!
– You have been humiliated!
– Close your channel, you are done!
– Science proves Islam is true!

Worse more you get non-muslims who kind of agree with them, enforcing the view of those Dawah that they have won. As an academic, I dislike these kinds of debates. On the spot, people throw sources and references – and who has the time to check them! You can have 100 studies that says X and one or two studies says Y – that does not mean you can claim Y be a reliable source! Some studies could be misinterpreted intentionally or otherwise. I prefer the academic debate where a transcript is sent and we are given enough time to examine the argument and sources.

InspiringPhilosophy busted Daniel Pinocchioo for citing studies claiming sex between an adult and underage has no harm to the children. He has been citing these as his keynote sources. Not only did this study turn out to be a Y (not consistent with other studies) but worse, it was only talking about HOMOSEXUAL relationship between adult men and boys. All Daniel did was read the Abstract (research summary) and never looked at it in detail. In fact, it advised that older men who have sexual relationships with girls is very harmful for the girls.

How Daniel managed to keep a straight face after that, is beyond me. I suppose when you are good at lying, you can do anything.

And finally, for once, his circus of followers did not respond to him like mindless sheep! They saw the disastrous debate and they know it is Daniel who had completely humiliated and destroyed.

PS: I don’t agree with InspiringPhilosophy religious views but I commend him for doing his detailed research of Daniel’s previous debates and showing up well prepared. That is exactly how I would have wanted to do it. And to be fair to those who debated him before, we go into these debates trusting the other person will be honest and only after a few of debates that the liars are exposed.

I grew up believing that all other faiths engage in brainwashing but in Islam, there is no brainwashing.

In Islam we engage the brain with logic and reasoning. We don’t just accept things, we discuss them within red lines. What I did not realise is that we were living inside a filter bubble – a bubble where we could discuss things like how do we know Allah exists, what type of hijab is correct, what is hallal to eat, is this Hadith authentic, and if I swim will that invalidate my fasting. In the world of critical thinking and reasoning, we were given a small sandbox and told “You are allowed to play here.”

Anytime we tried to leave and explore beyond, it was like “haaaayyy where you going??? Go back to your sandbox now”
Things like:

– How come ISIS, AlQaida, Bokoharam, Talban, Wahabies, Brotherhood, and other terrorist cite the Quran and Hadith?
– What does ملك اليمين “What your right hand possess” means? What do you mean these are women prisoners of war distributed as war bounty among the fighters for use and abuse?
– why did Muhammad have so many wives when Allah destiny was to make him childless (no male heir) like Essa (Jesus) and not like Abraham or Moses? Jesus did not have even one wife!
– How come we say we are the religion of peace, but other faiths don’t have so many terrorists groups like us?
– Why do I see 11 verses in the Quran that clearly say the earth is flat like a rug, carpet, bed, sheet, and spread? Dahaha is a verb, cannot mean an ostrich egg!
– What do you mean this year is the end of time?  What do you now change your mind and say next year is the end of time? What do you mean now you have another sign it is the end of time? Haven’t people been talking about the end of time being “this year” for 1400 years???
– Why do we start teaching  religion and sectarianism so early? If it is innate to believe in Islam, why not let them find their way? How can we claim our faith is innate but we need to teach it aggressively anyways!! What if we are brainwashed into Islam?

If you ask me to find the source of this Hadith, the answer is simple – they have pushed it under the carpet and buried. I was told it is in the Tafsir of a verse, if you find it, let me know.

Yes, not everything that was narrated and shared…and believed for 1350 years is still available for us. What apologist can twist and come up with ever creative way to explain it, they kept it. Anything in the Quran, they simply cannot change it. But the Hadith (narrations of people who spoke to Muhammad and passed on these stories) there has always been some questions on what to believe and what not to believe.

I have seen this and many variations of this meme shared in Arab Atheist social media. The consensus is that the narrative behind it is only found in Arabic printed hadith pre-1960’s editions. After that, most publishers removed it as questionable and religious authorities stopped talking about it. Why? What happened in the 1960’s that changed everything?

One important thing happened….first man landed on the moon and took a picture of Earth!! Arabs and Islamic countries had an Earthquake that shocked the population…the concept of a flat Earth had finally been set and no…there is nothing mysterious about how the Earth floats. Dig back and see how people from Egypt, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and Iraq lived. But the religious elite were not ready to give up…Islamic teachings where adapted to the new reality of no more slavery (now they pretend they always were against it, even though we did it for 1350 years) and Quran said the Earth is round – even though we have 11 verses that says the Earth is flat like carpet, sheet, bed and cover! There is a good reason Islamic scholars don’t want you to dig up the past and old books…you will realise then that Islam is full of fairytale, scientific errors, and immoral commands.

And just in case you thought this is just one Hadith and it is likely to be weak, hold onto your horses, it is repeated 17 times and it is all Sahih!

Even the most experienced mental gymnastics Islamists who would throw his mother under the bus to save Islam, struggles with this one! If all the devils are chained during Ramadan, how come so many people get tempted to eat and break their fast, how come some people commit sin, how come non-muslims reject Islam when the world is free from the devils. Ramadan and its many restrictions on foods, drinks, and sex must be a playground for the devils. What about the wars that happened during Ramadan? What about killings and abuse? But no, Muhammad’s imagination decided let’s make up that the all powerful Allah will make this month clean for us…without realising this Hadith is a non-starter. Why would I claim it is a non-starter? Ask 10 Muslims, and less than one in ten would have heard of it and the other 9 will say “nonsense” this has to be a weak Hadith! Yet they are wrong, the whole Islamic Hadiths are nonsense, not just this one.

Life expectancy has doubled in the last 100 years to 80 years old not from praying more to Allah, but from science and research. For 1400 years we never seen such progress in humanity until we realised no Allah or any god(s) are listening. We need to fend for ourselves…

No dates, to black seed, no prayer, no washing before praying, no honey, no oil stick up your anus (yes a sheikh has recommended that, scroll down our time line to see it…)

Remember people the Spanish Flu killed 50 millions, the plague killed 350 millions… And these where times when we all prayed far more than we do now. Praying to Allah does not work.

The reality is that even hospital cleaners are doing a better job as saving lives than your god or your prayers … So stop the Bullshit!!

The Islamic argument why the Quranic teachings are different to the Torah and the Bible is that “people corrupted” these books. Let us see:
1. The Quran was only put as one book 20 years after Muhammad died!! Before that, it was scattered as scrolls written on stones, leather, and bits of papers. Why Muhammad or Allah never asked for the book to be collated before Muhammad died! (I have another post about that)!
2. Of the four scribes (even the hadith cannot agree in their names!) Only one person survived to write it. How can we trust a no body by Zaid Ibn Tabith to remember 114 chapters with 6,350 verse in the correct order.
3. Too many repetitions that do not make sense until you realise Muhammad was getting old and forgetful as the authentic hadith says in multiple places:
Narrated Aisha: The Prophet heard a man reciting the Qur’an in the mosque and said, “May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he has reminded me of such-and-such Verses of such a Surah.”
Sahih Bukhari 6:61:556 / Sahih Muslim 4:1720
And Quran 87:6:
“We will have you recite ˹the Quran, O  Prophet,˺ so you will not forget!”

4.Islamic source confirm that the caliph Uthman ordered various copies of the Qur’an to be burnt because there were clear differences in the Qur’ans among people of Sham and people of Iraq. The differences were so great Uthman and his companions feared future dispute. Uthman asked Hafsa for her copy and he ordered to make many copies and destroy all the other copies. This shows that memorization had failed to completely preserve the Qur’an.

5. The compilation of the Qur’an was clearly a human process involving trial and error, educated guesses, faulty memories, fallible opinions, disagreements, mistakes, ignorance, and bad decisions. And we can’t forget, of course, the pile of manuscripts reduced to ashes by Uthman in his desperate attempt to destroy all evidence that the Qur’an hadn’t been perfectly preserved.

Now you have the facts, can you really claim the Quran is perfect and not corrupted? Seriously?

If you are Arab, and you read the verse against all the English translations, you will realise they ALL lied about one specific word because they are embarrassed by it,  the word Nikah (نكاح).

See in the Quran the word love is NEVER mentioned once in context of marriage. One translation is found but only in the context of “don’t love..the enemies” Yes, take a look. But Nikah is mentioned 20 times. Nikah (نكاح) in Arabic translates as f@&k – yes. It is so embarrassing, Urdu and many translations decided to replace it with the word “marriage” but open any online or offline Arabic translation and check it. So in Islam, Nikah Contract or the contract of two people getting together is in fact contract to f@&k! It is that simple. Islam does not factor love into it.

When Muhammad did his Nikah Contract with A’isha, he was in effect agreeing to f@&k her at age of 6. That is why the Authentic Hadith, in at least five times, makes the point that Muhammad waited 3 years and showed patience.

Honestly, I cannot tell you how many messages I get from people who think that people who leave Islam (this perfect religion) could probably have one or two silly reasons!!

Most assume we are confused, influenced by Western media, chasing after our worldly desires…or just stupid!

So when I start by saying: “I left Islam because the Quran is full of scientific errors and immoral commands. Also, it is clear that Muhammad who wrote the Quran, not a god.” They get angry, confused, and they challenge me for the evidence…

As I start pilling up the evidence, they get more agitated. They realise they are talking to someone who knows and has deep understanding of Islam. I then get four types of people:
– tells me to go to hell and blocks
– ignores everything I said, as if they heard nothing and changes the subject – spams me with videos of miracles of the Quran.
– sits there making excuses for each explanation, any excuse to say they wrote an answer, even if it makes absolutely no sense.
– (very rare) tells me I am fool and may Allah guide me and leaves.

And I am not the only to leave Islam. Many many people are leaving Islam more than any time in human history that is because of the Internet! The internet is allowing unbiased assessment of key issues such as the scientific facts in the Quran and the morality of the Hadith. Those who open their eyes for a moment to research it on Amazon books and YouTube channels, they will find many Ex-Muslims openly publishing books and posting videos that shows that the Quran is full of scientific errors and Hadith packed with immoral commands.
How to find these? Open Amazon and search “Leaving Islam”. Open you tube and search “Scientific Errors in the Quran” or the term Ex-Muslim.

The claim that Adam built the Kaaba is not in the Quran, but in the Hadith and there is some dispute about its authenticity as it partly contradicts the Quran – although apologists suggest that Adam built it first and it got neglected destroyed over time, so Abraham fixed it. Why doesn’t the Quran say that? It is an excuse we have no authentic source to back it. What is more ridiculous is why would Allah need a house for us to worship towards? Isn’t He everywhere? And if Allah is running this world like a clock and built is vast universe out of nothing…why He cannot protect His holy house?

I bet you did not know this. After Muhammad died, the Kabaa was destroyed 20 time and rebuilt. One time the blackstone was stolen for 22 years by the Qarmatians. It was smashed to little pieces and used in a toilet hole. That is why we only have fragments of it. This special meteorite rock that even Allah could not protect. So much for the supreme power of Allah.

Muhammad mocked the pagans of Mecca when he defaced and pulled their statues down saying “Where are these useless gods you worship? Why they are not here to defend their statues?” This angered the pagan who have coexisted with other faiths, including many tribes and people of the book (Christianity and Judaism). Pagans of Mecca, when they did get angry with Muhammad, is because he was the one who would not respect their faith and not the other way around.

So, here we say as Ex-Muslims, where was Allah to defend his house? Or were we worshiping a useless god too? In those 22 years when the cornerstone of house of Allah was stolen and Kaaba destroyed, in what direction did the Islamic Umma pray to?
