They keep saying Islam is feminist, empower women, and came to replace Jahiliah (ignorance) of pre-Islam. Is this true? What do we know about women rights before Islam? Khadijah was an independent business woman, she was the richest of Quraishi tribes, she had the largest convoy of camel who traded with Palestine and Syria, had married two men before Muhammad, she choose her own husbands, in fact she choose Muhammad who was HER OWN EMPLOYEE! When her husbands died, she inherited every penny.She did not need a guardian but Muhammad did require a guardian for himself to marry her!!!

Muhammad never dared to marry on her while she was alive. What Muhammad did after he took control? Women to stay at home, cover from head to toe, not allowed to engage in business on their own, have to ask male guardian to get married, get least inheritance, subordinate to men… Demolition of Women’s rights. Islam claims “No compulsion in religion…” Quran 2:256 only if you are a parent forcing your child NOT to convert to Islam!

Here is the background to that verse in the Quran from the Hadith :
“When the children of a woman (in pre-Islamic days) did not survive, she took a vow on herself that if her child survives, she would convert it a Jew. When Banu an-Nadir were expelled (from Arabia), there were some children of the Ansar (Helpers) among them. They said: We shall not leave our children. So Allah the Exalted revealed; “Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from error.”

Meaning, having taken their children and brainwashed them in Islam, Muhammad refused to return the children back to their parents in case the take them away from Islam. That is the actual context of that verse.

How do we compel our children and brainwash them in Islam? Well there is definitely compulsion in Islam. Thus this idea is abrogated (cancelled) when it comes to kuffars and apostates….. Ask any honest person how they grew up in Islam, and be ready for the horrors of forced studying and praying and fasting…but then they say “no compulsion” in Islam.

Anas reported Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: I and the Last Hour have been sent like this and (he while doing it) joined the forefinger with the middle finger.

Anas reported that a person asked Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as to when the Last Hour would come. He had in his presence a young boy of the Ansar who was called Mabammad. Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon bion) said: If this young boy lives. he may not grow very old till (he would see) the Last Hour coming to you.

Nowadays, Islamic scholars push this and other failed Hadith under the carpet. And invent alternative “signed of end of times” to frighten you into faith. And it works.

The question that always puzzled me is this suggestion : Islam is a religion of peace. Which peace? Where do we see any evidence of that? If someone said: “Our peace… When the whole world converts to Islam.” I would say Bullshit!! Have you not seen what Sunni, Shia, Sufi, Ahmadi, Ismaili, Wahabi, Alwaity and others have done to each other? And yet they all believe in Islam. There was never peace in Islam.

The last 12 years of Muhammad were full of wars and killing. No sooner Muhammad died from the poison, there were large groups who left Islam. Abu Bakr (supported by Omar) declared war on them and killed a large group of them – officially making it a capital punishment to leave Islam.

Beside Abu Bakr (who was lucky to die of natural causes just after two years of becoming a Khalifa), Umar (assassinated), Othman (assassinated) and finally Ali who waited forever for his term had to fight Aysha in the battle of the Camel that resulted in some 2500 deaths of Muslim_on_M0slim killings only to be (assassinated). Excuse me, this is the peace you are looking for???? Airplane accidents used to be common. Now they are a very rare event. In fact, you are more likely to die from driving a car, taking the train, or crossing the road. If there is ever evidence that prayer works in protecting people is to look at the safety records of flight for people going or returning from Hajj. I have been on one of them, it is a sea of people dressed in white, praying and blessing Allah. They are the cream of faith all in one place.. No plane would take off without hundreds reciting Alfatiha (a surah from the Quran) and chanting Allah Akbar… But where was Allah to save them?

Back in 2017, I wanted to see what posts are being shared by atheists on social media about Islam. I can tell you, there was virtually nothing!! All the focus was on Christianity, some on Judaism and Hindu. The few hard to find memes, where distasteful – cartoon of pig giving birth to Muhammad or Kaaba turned into a toilet box. How is this ever going to help anyone question their Islamic faith. Yet, when I checked Atheist Arabic pages, they were posts about the Quran, Hadiths, Sirat Al Nabi…always referencing their sources. So, I decided to do my bit. I do not want to be just another Exmuslim who leaves Islam and shuts up. I will use my knowledge of Islam, strong command of English, as well as my graphic skills to translate and create my own meme. And this is where the concept of “Arabic Translated Memes” came from. I don’t sign my memes so they are copyright free and they flow faster and easier. But you can tell from the style and font that I rarely change…that these are my memes. We are lucky to be at a time when the internet is available. You are a generation the missed out on a lot of bullshits -though some of it still exists! Lies and made up claims can now be shared and exposed online, so the people behind them are become more careful. There had been many fear tactics used to subdue people to stay in the faith…this is not particularly limited to Islam at all, but growing up in the faith, I can tell you the amount of bullshits that suggest swift and powerful revenges of Allah are so extra ordinary that in my days (before the internet) we truly believed it…like the example of leaving Islam giving us cancer -instantly. When AIDS first came out, it was suggested that it is Allah’s direct punishment to homosexuals – not mentioning that many straight people got it and Lesbians did not get it!!! There are people now, in my close circle of religious friends and family, who believe no one EVER leaves Islam – because it is perfect!! Yet if they ever switched their brains on and read the Quran they would find it full of scientific errors and hadith packed with immoral command. They are some who believe birth deformity is a punishment from Allah -even though in our culture of close relative marriages is a lot higher than in the West. We need this and other internet outlet to show everyone…we are no different, we have ridiculous claims just like you, we have scientific errors in our holy book just like you…and our prophet is not an example of humanity or morality by any standards. If it is cold and you need to warm up, burn any book (holy or otherwise) they will all equally warm you and nothing else will happen to you.
